Dalco was established on 10th April, 1986, with its first investment coming in the form of a block of 4 apartments in Mellieha. Dalco’s second investment was more ambitious, and comprised 64 apartments in Sliema, 17 of which were sold. Today, Dalco owns 6 apartments in Mellieha and 47 apartments in Sliema, all of which are leased to third parties.
Contrary to its past investments where properties were acquired in a finished state, Dalco has now embarked on the development of a 72-apartment project in San Gwann. The expected completion date of the development is summer of 2019. Dalco will be selling 34 units and retaining 39 units for leasing, raising its owned property portfolio to 92 apartments.
